The Wraptor® Ceiling Fan Range enhances Martec’s commitment to provide industry leading technology with the highest quality and design features. The Wraptor® series embraces all aspects of interior design requirements by using an innovative retractable blade system which offers whisper quiet blade expansion and retraction in forward or reverse directions. Due to the unique design of the Wraptor® it may be used as an attractive stand alone light pendant or a fully functional ceiling fan.

Incorporating an energy efficient high light output 40w T5 circular fluorescent tube with electronic ballast, 1200mm (48’) blade diameter. Accessories include Premier remote, Platinum Touch Screen remote and Partner DUO remote kits. A 900mm and 1800mm down rod are available for Cathedral ceilings.

It is a nice looking light fitting with a good fluro light. It is very quiet and gives a good air distribution. I love that the blades retract and don't gather all that dust for show. The online prices are good and the specials from time to time make this one a bit more affordable. The service from the online staff was excellent.

Hi I would like to order 4x Wraptor Ceiling Fan. 2x in each room. I wonder how many Martec touch screen remote control kit- 3 speed 55808 I need to buy? Could I use 1 remote to control one or two fans in each room. Waiting for your reply.

You will need to purchase 4 remotes.

Each remote comes with a receiver and one receiver needs to be put into each fan.
You can control several receivers from one remote.

How energy efficient is this fan?

Yes it can however you may need to run an extra wire to operate the light.
In that case iwould recommend using a remote control which makes installation much easier and faster.

The airflow is 172.1m3 min-1.
For full specs just select the colour you want from the drop down menu and there is a table in the description that will show you all the specs of the fan.

What is the clearance necessary from the light fixture to the nearest wall? What is the distance from the bottom of the light fixture to the ceiling?

The blades expand out to about 1200mm in diamater.
The fitting is about 330mm from the top to the bottom.

Hi, can you tell me which remote is compatable with this fan, can i use the LCD one with the dimmer switch? Can the fluro light in this fan be dimmed? Where does the remote receiver locate on the fan when installed, is it visible? Thank you

Hi.

If you have a look on the left hand side of the listing under Related Projects you will see the remotes that are compatible with this fans.

You can't use the LCD remote as the light in the Wraptor is not dimmable.

The remote receiver is located in the canopy of the fan. It is not visible.

Hi.

Yes you can use it there. I would just make sure it is undercover.

The only thing to be aware of is that the warranty won't cover it for damage or fault due to exposure to water, ect.

I live near the ocean, will the brushed nickel finish pit?

If it is going inside then it should be fine, I wouldnt recommend putting it outside as it may deteriorate the fan and it wont be covered under warranty if used outdoors.

How are the blades cleaned if they retract when turned off?

Hi,

You need to pull the blades out when the fan is turned off by applying a bit of pressure.
Once you have them out you can wipe them with a soft cloth.

Is there a delay between the time you turn on the light and the time that the light will actually come on? My experience with another fluoro light is that there is noise and flicker before the light actually comes on.

You can't use the wall switch that comes with it plus a remote. It would need to be one or the other.
However thereis another option. If you want to have both wall control and remote control they grab this product.

This has a wall controller plus a remote. The wall controller is wireless so you don't need to run any extra wires.
