Typhoon metal ceiling fan is currently the one industrial ceiling fan range from Hunter Pacific. It's a full metal fan, having all parts of the fan made of metal including the blades. The double step pitch of the blades combined with its large motor allows the Typhoon Metal ceiling fan to circulate optimum volumes of airflow with each spin. The fan has a 22 degree pitch on the blade and the angle consists of 2 parts, the 17 degree on the blade and a further 5 degree on the trailing edge to increase the volume of air moved by the product.

What are the fan blades made of, aluminium or other? And can I operate two off the same switch? Thanx, John

The Blades are made of metal then powder coated in black.
You cant run them on one switch, they need to each have their own wall control.

Hello there. What length is the standard rod that you get with the fan. I need to establish whether I will need an extension rod. Do you know what the optimal height the ceiling fan should be at?

The standard rod is about 10 - 15cm long.
I would recommend using an extension rod for anything over 3 meters, they start to get less effective from that height and over.
