The Alpha 48" Ceiling Fan Range including Remote Control incorporates sleek contemporary design features at a budget price. It comes with Infra Red Remote Control and offers slim motor design, 4 sleek solid New Zealand plywood sealed blades and exceptional air movement. The Martec Alpha Series is available in a high quality Brushed Nickel, White or Antique Brass finish.

A 900mm or 1800mm extension downrod is available for high ceilings.

Offering a 12 degree blade pitch for both low and high air movement, it is ideal for both bedroom and large living areas.

Hi, Does this product need to be fitted by an electrician or can the average DIY do the job? Also does it need to be wired to a point on the wall or is the remote control the main switch?

An electrician is required to install this fan.
As long as there is power going to the fan then the remote control will operate the fans controls.
