1.WHAT ARE THE FAN SPEEDS 2. WHAT IS THE POWER CONSUMPTION FOR EACH SPEED 3.WHAT TYPE AND SIZE OF LAMP BULB WILL IT ACCEPT & IS THE DIMMER OWNLY SUITABLE FOR A SPECIFIC TYPE OF BULB
Asked by P. BAILEY from ERINA NSW - 16 Aug

Hi.

Once you select the colour you want you will see at the bottom of the page all the tech data. This will tell you speeds, power consumption ect.

The Globe is a PL 26W globe, they are pretty standard. Replacements are about $15.00

1. Can you please tell me if the 52" blades with the standard mount and rod will clear a 30 degree raked ceiling. 2. Is the reverse switch in the remote or on the fan ceiling mount? (My the blades on my existing fan are 3.25 metres from the floor which makes it near imposible to change the direction by a switch on the fan body.) 3 does the fan come with a wall switch also as I am replacing an existing "Omega" fan and light combo.
Asked by Kevin Newman from Kenthurst NSW - 05 Aug

Hi

1: No they will need an extension rod.
2: The reverse switch is on the motor unit on the fan (Ceiling Mount)
3: It only comes with a remote control however it does have a wall bracket so you can attach it to the wall.

Thanks

Lighting Illusions Online

sorry, can you clarify...can the wall bracket will allow hardwiring to existing switch? I plan to replace a current bedroom light with the fan/light combo. I'm hoping to be abel to switch the light on/off at the door (where the current light switch is) and leave the remote by the bedside to dim light / control fan. Is this a possible setup with the quadrant? Also, appearance wise, are square ceiling fans the emerging trend?
Asked by nancy from melbourne - 20 Aug

Hi

No you can't use a wall control and remote as well, this fan is only operated by a remote control.
It's all about personal preference, some people like square and some people like round fans.

Thanks

Sorry - can you pls confirm the globes used for this fan agaain. The spec says "40W 2c Dimmable Fluorescent light". Is that the same as the 26w PL light globe?
Asked by nancy from melbourne - 20 Aug

Hi

This fan uses a 40W T6 Dimmable Globe, the 26W PLT globes are different.

Thanks

Lighting Illusions Online.

Does this fan come with a timer? If not, do you have any other models which come with light and timer?
Asked by Mrs Seah from WA - 14 Sep

Hi

The remote control comes with a 1-9 hour timer.

I am interested in purchasing this product. I live on the Gold Coast, and am concerned with the effect of salt air on the product.
Asked by Susan from Main Beach Qld - 10 Oct

Hi

As these are made of plywood the will be fine however the warranty doesnt cover it for use outside.
If you are after an outdoor fan I would highly recommend our Cyclone 316 ceiling fan range as it will be covered for use in outdoor areas.

Thanks

If you have a number of fans in the same area i.e. a large open plan living space will one remote set off the other fans when you only want one switched on? Is the remote infra-red?
Asked by Des from brisbane - 22 Oct

Hi

The remotes are radio frequency operated and is specific to each fan so there wont be an issue with them setting off other fans.

Thanks

Hello, Do you have any measurements for how low this hangs from the ceiling i.e. the "A" of "F" measurements which you have on some of your hunter fans. Thanks

I intend to replace an existing ceiling light with this type of fan. Do I need to install additional wiring or can I just hook it up and go from there. Thanks Vincent
Asked by Vincent M Carbonaro from Central Coast NSW - 01 Nov

Hi.

The fan can go straight up, you don't need any extra wiring. The Remote will run everything.

Hi Is the fan available with warm white fluro globes? Also is there a wall switch for the fan too or is there only the remote control. Are we required to buy a dimmer switch with the fan or is this included? Thanks Lisa
