Martec have introduced the Envirofan E27 as an alternative to the T6 Envirofan, featuring twin Edison Screw E27 lamps.

This Envirofan E27 model has been designed specially to support the standard Energy Saving Globes allowing you to purchase a quality product at an affordable price without compromising performance.

Accessories include Remote Control kits which are available in Touch Screen and STANDARD kits. 900mm or 1800mm extension downrods are also available for high ceilings.

Offering 5 straight New Zealand plywood sealed blades, or curbed as optional, a 3 speed wall control with light switch .

Free from VIC Review of 'Martec Envirofan 1300mm Ceiling Fan with E27 Light' - 05 Nov Any fan with five wooden blade fans is going to be quiet, and this one is no exception I have rated this 4/5 only because I also have Hunter fans at home which are exceptional on any speed. I have this fan in a kids bedroom and on low speed it is silent. It does get a little bit of noise (Mostly wind) at higher speeds but only because it is moving so much air. This fan has a lot of power it would work well in small or large rooms. Exceptional value for money if there was a 6 it would have gotten it. Comes with a light and wall controller, just supply two standard globes and get it installed and you are sorted.

Hi. Please can you advise the total height of the fan unit, i.e. from the ceiling to the lowest point on the light.

It is 39cm from the ceiling to the bottom of the glass.

I would recommend 2 x 40W incandescent globes or 2 x 15W fluoro globes.

Will the section that sits on the ceiling cover the hole of a recessed light. If not, do you have any fans that will. My ceiling height is only 2.42 meters high so I don't want a fan that hangs too low. I would like one that has a florescent light fixture attachment if possible. Thank You for your assistance. Hi.

The fans need to attached to a beam.
It is hard to say without seeing your situation.

We have a number of fans that have energy saving lights. I would recommend looking at the Envirofan T6. It comes with a remote and dimmable fluorescent globe.

we wish to replace existing light fittings with ceiling fan with light We believe it will be difficult to run a new wire from the existing wall switch to the fan fitting .Can this unit be used with the remote control for light & fan functions with the wall switch being used for power supply only.
