Martec Cyclone Series 2 - 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel Ceiling Fan
Martec's 'Exclusive' Cyclone Series 2 - 316 is a premium Ceiling Fan and is intended to give maximum cooling benefits for medium to large living areas, bedrooms or enclosed outdoor areas. The exterior of this high quality fan from Martec is made ENTIRELY from Full 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel and is ideal for all coastal areas. Martec have designed the Cyclone Series 2 to produce exceptional air flow allowing you to gain cost effective cooling benefits.
This fan is provided with a powerful motor and a 23 degree blade pitch for greater airflow. It also has an optional Full 316 Stainless steel adaptable light fitting(PLKSS) specifically intended to take energy saving globes. A 3 speed wall controller with light switch is included.
Accessories include Remote Control kits which are available in Touch screen, LCD and standard kits. A 900mm or 1800mm Marine glade 316 Stainless Steel extension downrod is available for high ceilings.

Hi
Yes you can operate 3 fans from 1 remote control however 3 remote kits need to be purchased as each kit only comes with 1 reciever (Little Black Box) and that is the part that needs to go up in the canopy of each fan.

The fans are about 300mm currently.
If you chop down the rod you could probably shave another 50mm off that, possibly a bit more.
They are designed to go into that sort of areas and won't rust.

Hi.
Unfortunately no. It is not available in the US.
This fan runs on 240V and the US is 110V so it would not operate over there without a transformer to convert the voltage.
If i can be of any further assistance please don't hesitate to ask.

I would be suggesting at 1.5-2 inches anything less won't really give you a good fixing and even then the joist must be very secure.
If not it can cause the fan to be slightly out of balance as the fan needs a good strong fixing point to be attached to.

There is no remote included with this fan. It comes with a wall switch.
You can purchase a remote as an optional extra.
