Looks good for the money and does the job required. Can replace existing incandescent globe for 15W energy saving and light is still sufficient.

Yes they are ducted. The duct is on the side and it comes with some ducting as well.

Would the exhaust in this unit be effective with 9ft ceilings?

Yes it would work fine in that area.
As hot air rises it will capture the steam and vent it out.

what is the size of the unit as i need to replace an existing exhaust and want to make sure that it covers the existing hole
