The Martec Tetra Exhaust fan and light is a modern design Exhaust Fan featuring a metallic centre with a matching halogen downlight.
The Tetra Exhaust Fan is able to be side ducted for low profile ceilings and features a ball bearing motor with turbo blades to ensure powerful extraction yet whisper quiet operation.

Hi Are the light and fan separately switched, ie can I switch on the fan alone without the light. Thanks

They are operated at the same time however your electrician can wire it up so they are operated independently, just let him know first before he installs it.

Can this fan light combo be installed at the shower ceiling with no condensation problems,and still maintain its warranty?

No these cant be installed at a shower ceiling, they need to be at least 1m away.

Are they suitable to have over the shower area which is located a dark corner of the room? THanks

No I wouldnt recommend these for over a shower area as moisture may get inside it and ruin it.

can I attach a hose from the back of the unit to extract moisture through the wall cavity. As the ceiling is shallow under where the light would be.

I am not sure I follow you exactly but from what I can understand yes you can attached a duct to the back of the unit to extract the moisture to another location.

Do we need 2 separate cables for the fan and light? i.e can we replace a downlight with this unit without adding another cable? Access is a problem for sparky.

Hi.

You could operate it all from one cable but you wouldn't be able to switch them separately.
If you wanted to operate the fan and the light individually you would need two cables.
