Always proud to break new ground, the Hunter Pacific SwitchEM receiver is the first ceiling fan remote control system that allows the choice of different handpieces to be used. SwitchEM Designer handpieces elegantly combine functionality and style.

The Switchem receiver is compatible with most ceiling fans that use induction motors and capacitor speed control. The light control circuit will operate with incandescent lamps and leading edge dimmable fluorescent lamps.

Features

  • The SwitchEM Receiver will only work with handpeices from the SwitchEM Range.
  • This is the receiver unit only, a handpeice must also be purchased to operate this receiver.
  • One SwitchEM Handpeice can control multiple SwitchEM receiver units on the same frequency. For Example if you have 2 fans in the same room purchase 2 receivers and just 1 handpeice to run them.

I'm interested in getting this system but have a question...(or two). 1- Do I need to run separate lines for fan and light to the box? I have an existing single power line going to where the light way. I assume only one feed line is required. 2- Does this work with any fan? (loose wires) Or must it be a Hunter Fan and needs a special plug?

Hi.

All you need is power.
The remote will run the the Fan and light

It is recommended to be used with Hunter Pacific Fans. Generally each brand has their own remotes.
What fan did you want to hook this up to.
