Always proud to break new ground, the Hunter Pacific SwitchEM range is the first ceiling fan remote control system that allows the choice of different handpieces to be used. SwitchEM Designer handpieces elegantly combine functionality and style.
The Switchem receiver unit (sold seperatly) is compatible with most ceiling fans that use induction motors and capacitor speed control. The light control circuit will operate with incandescent lamps and leading edge dimmable fluorescent lamps Led lamps.Features
Why use a remote?
Often times when installing a new ceiling fan extra wires need to be run from the fan to the wall controller. In many situations this is simply not possible or too expensive.
This is where a remote comes in handy. No additional wires need to be run down the wall as the remote control unit operates all the fans functions negating the need for a wall controller.
