This long body up/down pillar light is made from premium aluminium and has an IP66 rating to withstand tough weather conditions.

The longer tube in this fitting allows for the use of specialised fluorescent and LED globes that would normally not fit in a standard up/down light.

Yes you do need a transformer for this light as it is 12V.
We also sell them with inbuilt transformers.

Where does the 12V come from?

The 12V feed would be supplied externally to the fitting. Say from a transformer.
These type of fitting are good for places you can't run 240V to, such as around a pool.

It doesn't come with transformer.
The electrician will be able to arrange one for you.

Hi Nazo,

The lights come with yellow colour halogen globes, you can switch to LED globes and that'll make them energy saving.
