This cool white LED globe is ideal for use in any existing fitting that utilises MR16 halogen globes.

Unlike many cheap LED globes on todays market, this globe uses high quality LED's to not only give you excellent light qualities, but a rated life of 50,000 hours.
By using this globe you will dramatically reduce your energy consumption.

Review of 'Cool White (4000k)' - 21 Sep We have replaced 5 x 50W downlights in our kitchen with these are they are ok when used in conjunction with other lights in the area (dining room etc). They certainly run a lot cooler and are more instant when you switch them on but they are only about 60% of brightness of standard downlights and with only a 45 degree spread leave dark areas on our kitchen bench. Wife not ovrely happy but well keep them in there until I find a brighter cost-effective option....

I would like to change current halogen downlights 12 v in my kitchen. Are these lights suitable and more importantly bright enough.

I would recommend these lights for mood lighting lighting, media rooms or garden lighting.
if you want something bright for your kitchen but still bright enough i would recommend our 18W fluorescent downlight kits.

Hi,do you have also the 3X3 Watt COOLWhite Mr16 12V with a beam from 20Â° and what is the prices sorry for my batt english

Sorry but these are not avaialble with a beam spread of 20 degrees.

Would I be correct in understanding that the warm white in these globes has as much output as the cool white?

Hi Helen,

Yes, the light output would be the same.
However, the colour temperature would be higher for cool white.
