NSW Review of 'Cool White' - 08 Nov Good light output and beam focus. Bought one to trial as a halogen swap in the kitchen but the light is quite harsh despite being a warm white globe. |

ACT Review of 'Cool White' - 08 Feb A fantastically bright light. Unlike CFL's there is no waiting time for the lights to warm up meaning that they are suited for all sorts of purposes. Hopefully also, these LEDs will last much longer than the CFLs I have previously used which had very short lifespans. I highly recommend them particularly as the price of LED's comes down. |

NSW Review of 'Cool White' - 22 Feb Bought a warm white to try as the cool white tends to be a little harsh but very bright. It depends where you want to use them I guess. Very good light output for a 5W globe especially from the Cool White type. Will be replacing our halogens in the kitchen with the Cool White as they are as good as, if not better than, the halogens. It's hard to judge as it's a different type of lighting result. |

I have a number of downlights in my house (model HV4303) in my house. I currently have HV9012 13W globes in them. I find these globes very slow to start up and not bright enough for task lighting in bathrooms especially. Is this LED GU10 a direct replacement for the CFL's? Can I expect a better brighter light?

Hi Janine,
Yes, you can use this globe as direct replacement for GU10 halogen globes.
They'll be brighter than CFLs.
