6W Hi-Output LED Globe 12V MR16
This globe products a fantastic light. It also has the advantage of being Dimmable. We recommend using an LED driver or Iron Core transformer with this globe.
It's output is better then most 3x3W (9W) globes that we have tested.
For Globe Specs please select from either Cool White or Warm White from the menu above.

is this suitable as a replacement for standard MR16 halogen globes. if not, is there and LED globe that you recommend for use with standard MR16 transformers

Than can be used as a replacement for standard MR16 halogen globe; however, you would need a suitable LED driver for it.
