This is a Builders Budget Pack, 12V Round Fixed Downlight Kit.

This kit comes with a cast aluminium frame with a twist lock face.
A 50W MR16 Budget Halogen globe with a 60° beam spread plus a 5000hr rated life.
A 12V 50VA Dimmable electronic transformer with 12month warranty.

RATING Value for Money Build Quality Performance Aesthetics Light Output	E. Gardner from VIC Review of 'Builders Budget Round Fixed MR16 12V Downlight Kit' - 30 May Just installed 26 fittings, all worked well. Only minor issue was 70mm cut out required a little filing to fit the heat can. Overall.....well I'm ordering more, best value fitting I've seen and as a sparkie I've seen a fair few.

HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE GLOBE

The bit at the bottom just twists off and the globe falls out. It is really easy.

Hi does the complete kit include the downlight guard

No this does not include the guard.
The Heat Guard is available as an extra.

hi there, im after 50 brushed stainless 12v downlight kitsi see there about $10.50 each. How much are they with the better GE globe? Thanks Patrick Cangia

If you are looking for a better kit. These are the ones i would be recommending.
They come with a German made Osram globe.
