Hi, is the supplied globe is dim-able and what type of dim controller to suite with this kit..as I want to install 6 of this in the lounge area...does it has heat shield included?

Hi.

Yes the it is both leading and trailing edge dimmable.
The heat can can be purchased separately for these.
They are on the left hand side of the listing under related products.
