The Martec Lifestyle (52") ceiling fan with 2xE27 Light , is a full Die Cast Aluminium ceiling fan with a classic design.
It comes with a light untilising 2 x E27 (ES) lamp holders and 4 sleek solid New Zealand plywood blades.

The Martec Lifestyle ceiling fan is available in a range of high quality finishes - Brushed Aluminium, White or Antique Brass.

Accessories include Remote Control kits which are available in Touch Screen, LCD or STANDARD kits. A 900mm and 1800mm extension downrods are also available for high ceilings. This fan offers a 12.5 degree blade pitch for both low and high air movement and is ideal for both bedrooms and large living areas.

Hello I assume these take standard energy saving edison screw bulbs. Do you need to insert 2 or can one do.? Also how far below ceiling is fan withoutthe extendion rod? I have a ceiling iwth plaster wor that will not allow a completely flat installation hard up against the ceiling. Is this a problem? Thanks

Hi.

Yes it takes a normal ES type globe. You can use just one if you want.
As for the ceiling as long as it is secure it should be fine. You just don't want the canopy to be moving as this will cause wobbling in the fan.

Does it take flourescent globes and if so what size max?

Hi Steve,

It can take fluorescent globe up to 15-20W.
You can use any sized fluorescent globe as long as you can fit it inside.

How do you remove the light cover to replace the globe.My model has a quartz filament tubular globe.If the glass cover unscrews which direction and how to loosen if it is tight.

Hi Phil,

The glass just twists off.
It can sometimes be a bit tight. You need to twist it as if you were unscrewing a nut and it will come away from the body of the fan.
