Warranty and Returns
If you've placed your order with with Lighting Illusions online, read our information about warranty and returns below.
1. Do the products you sell come with warranty?
Yes. All products we sell have a manufactures warranty. The warranty may vary depending on the product and supplier.
All our products, with the exception of DIY type products, must be installed by a licensed electrician. Failure to do so will void your warranty. Also any repair, alteration or tampering of the fitting without the approval of the manufacture will also void your warranty.
2. My Product is faulty, what do i do now?
If you have a faulty lighting product please send us an email HERE. The faulty product in most cases will need to be return to us. On arrival we will test the fitting, if it is found to be a manufacturing fault we will send you a replacement fitting. The warranty does not cover any labour costs or transport costs associated with returning the fitting to us.
The warranty is limited to defects in workmanship only and does not cover the incorrect installation, normal wear and tear, damage through incorrect use or power fluctuations.
If your faulty product is a ceiling fan please contact the manufacture directly and they will assist you with the warranty.
3. Can I return a product purchased online?
Yes. We are happy to accept returns if you change your mind or simply no longer need the product. You need to return the product(s) to us within 30 days from the receipt of your item. The goods must be in original, unused condition. On receipt of the product(s) we will provide you with a store credit which is valid for 12 months. The store credit will comprise the original purcahse price of the item(s) minus the delivery fee. Although some of our products may be shipped for free on return of these products our actually delivery costs will be deducted from the store credit. Insurance cannot be refunded.
4. How do I return an item bought from Lighting Illusions Online
Please call us on 07 3421 3322 or send us an email HERE and we will provide you with a returns number. Please include that number with the goods you are returning to us.
