Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for our 30 day returns policy the following requirements must be met:
- Proof of purchase Invoice.
- The return request is sought within 30 days of your Invoice Date.
- The product(s) must be in “as new” condition, in the original undamaged packaging, including all instruction manuals and accessories and have not been installed, used, or altered.
- The customer is responsible for any costs associated with returning the product to us and it must be returned to the original place of purchase.
- The refund given is less any shipping costs incurred by us to ship the order originally, regardless of free shipping.
- All returns must first be approved by Lighting Illusions.
- Returns must be received within 10 business days from when the return was authorised. Returns received after this date will not be eligible for return unless prior written authorisation was given.
We offer two refund options so that you can choose the best one to suit your needs.
Option 1: Store Credit
- Store Credit for the full value of the product(s) minus any shipping costs incurred by Lighting Illusions.
- Store Credit valid for 3 years.
Option 2: Cash Refund
- 20% restocking fee applies.
- Refund is minus any shipping costs incurred by Lighting Illusions.
- Refund to original payment method.
How to Arrange a Return
- In-Store Orders: Contact the store where you made your purchase to obtain a return authorisation.
- Online Orders: Contact our online team to obtain authorisation.
- Returns sent or dropped off without prior authorisation will not be accepted.
What Cannot Be Returned
- Brands: Hinkley, Visual Comfort, Allegri, Kalco, Lark, Hubbardton Forge, Nordlux, Ebb & Flow, Ideal Lux, Roger Pradier, Paola & Joy, Lighting Republic, Lighting Inspirations, Fiorentino.

- Ex-Display Items
- Clearance Items
- Discontinued Items
- Complementary products
- Gift vouchers.
This returns policy applies to any purchase made from Lighting Illusions in-store or online and does not exclude or replace your statutory rights given under the Australian Consumer Law and Regulations ACT 2010.
Quality Check
Upon receipt of your purchase, please ensure you thoroughly check the product(s) to ensure you are happy with the cosmetic finish before having the product(s) installed. Any cosmetic issues must be reported to Lighting Illusions within the 30-day return window. Product(s) that have been installed are not covered under warranty for cosmetic issues.
