Luxury Mirrored Lights

Brightening Up

Eglo Tamara Spotlight Light Circle

I’m often asked for tips on how to bring an extra bit of sparkle to my clients’ homes. Of course, choosing your lighting carefully is the best way to make sure your favourite rooms are shown off to their advantage. For people who really want to make sure their homes shine, I recommend trying out mirrored lights, for an extra touch of brilliance. For example, for someone with a beautiful new fitted kitchen, I’d pick something like the Eglo Tamara Chrome and Mirror Spotlight. The mirrored fixture gives an incomparable light; bright enough for the important tasks in the kitchen, yet flattering to both you and your décor.

Because they look so good, mirrored lights are ideal in your bathroom, too. Try adding a mirrored spotlight, and you’ll find that your white bath and mosaic tiles absolutely gleam. The Eglo Tamara Chrome and Mirror Light Bar can be mounted above your bathroom mirror, and each light is adjustable, so you can point the individual lights exactly where you need them most.

Deluxe Delight

Telbix Camillia Gold Round Oyster Lights

Many of my clients want a glamorous style in their homes, and it’s not difficult to bring a hint of Hollywood to your rooms if you add the right lighting, as I wrote a while back in a post about getting the Gatsby look. Chandeliers are the first port of call when you think about luxury lighting, and people are often surprised by the difference it makes when the fixture is mirrored.

For a sitting room with luxurious sofas, polished tables and vases full of fresh flowers, adding a light like the Camillia Gold & Clear Glass Close to Ceiling Light hits the perfect note. In a dining room with walls painted in jewel colours and a table laid with your finest dishes and sparkling wine glasses, I think the Dolce Chrome and Crystal Close to Ceiling Light would bring just the right amount of glitter to top it off.

Sparkling Corner

Mercator Xena Black Table Lamp

It’s usually when clients have decorated and furnished a room that they start to think about the finishing touches like table lamps. At Lighting Illusions, we have a fantastic range, and for those of you looking for that extra something, I’d advise you think about Lighting Illusions’ collection of mirrored lamps. The Paradise Mirror Glass Panel Shade with Etched Design Touch Table Lamp would look pretty in a feminine bedroom, sitting on a white bedside table, by a bed with flowered covers.

We do carry a huge range of beautiful lamps, but I think one of the most stylish and glamorous models is the Xena Black Timber Base with Glass Mirror Design Table Lamp. Its black, silky shade and mirrored base bring a whisper of Art Deco to your room. Its simple lines would suit the most modern interior design as well as completing the design of a 1920s-style room to suit the Great Gatsby himself.
