Description

The brushed chrome Trent DIY batten fix light is a classic 1 light do-it-yourself close-to-ceiling fixture.
Features an alabaster glass shade with a brushed chrome metal base.
This  product is suitable for most hallways, bedrooms and kitchens.

A Batten fix is one of the most common light fittings. It is often supplied as standard in new homes.
It is simply a BC Lampholder connected to the ceiling or wall. Many DIY (do it yourself) lighting fittings are made to cover Batten Fixes.

By unscrewing the sleeve at the bottom of the Batten Fix you are able to slide the DIY light into place then screw the sleeve back on. This allows for the DIY light to be held in place.
The main benefit of DIY lighting of this nature is that they do not require the need for an electrician to install therefore, potentially saving you hundreds of dollars.
