Good fan for a resonable price. My main issue with this product is that when you are fitting the fan blades there is always one dodgy screw hole on the fan body. This means that one of the blades is only secured by two screws not three. Having said that previous fans with this fault don't appear to have been effected by this to date, but the manufacturer needs to fix this just the same.
Always remember to start them on hi speed first then back them off if needed as this will ensure a longer working life for your fan. Happy days

There is nothing wrong with the remote itself. The problem was that it was supplied with a mercator fan and the receiver was really to big to fit inside this fan's ceiling cover plate. It was a real struggle to get it to fit without damaging the wiring.
